Newtown's Alex Davies impresses the judges on Britain's Got Talent

Alex Davies - an extremely talented local singer/songwriter and regular live musician at The Exchange - performed on Britain's Got Talent on ITV1 on Saturday 7th April in front of a studio audience of 3500, a TV audience of 10 million, and three very hard-to-please judges!
Since filming took place earlier in the year, Alex's success at the live audition, where he performed his own track "F R Double EE", has been a not-very-well-kept secret locally, as he impressed all three judges putting him through to the next round.
Alex, who's currently studying at Newport University, has performed regularly at The Exchange - see our What's On page for future gigs
